it sure was!
Probably because you're in Britain which is part of western Europe which is predominantly white. If you want to see more black/brown people, have a look at some universities in Africa or the Middle East,India, China etc

Silly comment. Exeter is the least diverse Russell group uni bar Belfast (!), it's really struggling to attract people of colour. Even Oxbridge and Durham do substantially better than Exeter and they are also predominantly white parts of the country.

Exeter has a problem which it needs to address.
