Accomidation in St. Andrews
Hey all, I am currently an undergrad about to finish my degree in History at Lancaster. I may be studying for a Masters in Contemporary History at St. Andrews and had a few questions about accomidation etc.
Firstly, what are halls like? I notice the cheapest is roughly £92/week. Currently I pay £89 for a house with fibre optic broadband, and its lovely. Is the price worth it? What sort of feedback etc. is there on accomidation?
Secondly how is the private market? I have read a few things, mainly bad, about it. If there's anyone looking for a new housemate that might be really good, just send me a message if so.
Anyone from the history department? Any good?
Anyway, let me know what's what. Money is a bit of an issue, and though I do wish to study at Scotland (preferably St. Andrews) it may be a deciding factor.
