In the Friend Zone - asking out a friend

Hi, was hoping you could give me some advice on how to ask a girl out who is my friend at college. I'm 19 and she's 23 getting out of a long relationship, we've been friends for a while and have really good chemistry but she's way out of my league. Ive liked her for a while and was thinking about asking her out before we break up for summer, any tips on how to ask her out, go big for example? Not sure she see's me that way though :/
No such thing as 'out of my league', it's all in your head. Be direct about your intentions and show her that you're confident, not intimidated if she rejects you etc. Ask her out on a simple friendly date and then confess your feelings (it doesn't have to be verbal). You can warm her up a little beforehand but chances are she's already made up her mind.
