French and Spanish A level?

I am currently only studying French GCSE (my school only allows one language) but I would really like to do both French and Spanish at A level. I understand that a lot of schools don't allow you to do an A level in a language that you haven't done at GCSE but if they do say that I can, how difficult would it be to study these two very similar languages at the same time? I just wonder as I know that my Spanish friend really struggles learning French as it is so similar- would this translate learning them as second languages?

Sorry for how badly this is written by the way! Any ideas?
Sorry you've not had any responses about this. :frown: Are you sure you’ve posted in the right place? Posting in the specific Study Help forum should help get responses.

I'm going to quote in Puddles the Monkey now so she can move your thread to the right place if it's needed. :h: :yy:
