Are Manchester lenient on giving out offers?

What resonably do i need to achieve at AS to be okay for an AAB course?

Would, ABCC (A*AB) prediction (if all goes good), be okay and an instantaneous conditional offer?

Would, BCCC (ABB) prediction, suffice?

How strict are they

I got ABCD (prediction ABC) and they gave me a fairly instantaneous offer to do Law (AAA without an interview) and it looks like I'll meet my offer, although I've heard of people dropping 2-3 grades on most courses at Manchester and still scraping in. You'll be fine.

Yaaaaay
Thanks for giving me hope
Good luck with that AAA, make sure you smash it.

Is law at Manchester popular?
From their website "As a guide, for 2014 entry we received approximately 2000 applications for 270 places." Its pretty popular. What do you want to study?
i got an offer to study there with AABC at AS and AAA prediction for this year, hope that helps!

Yeah you should be ok, just make sure you do have back up options as it seems like a fairly specialised course. Good luck though.

Yeah no probs
when did you apply? Apparently the earlier you apply the more chance you have of being accepted since the days/weeks before the 'equal consideration' deadline, there would already have given out offers, and there's more pressure for them to give out the last few offers...

Early December as it was my colleges deadline then. Got the offer a week later although my last offer came over a month later (AAA Newcastle Law) so it doesn't really matter if its delayed.
I was predicted ABB and they let me in for an AAB course. As long as your predictions are near their requirement then you should get an offer. AS grades don't mean much there.

International Business, Finance and Economics with Industrial Placement
Its worth an e-mail if you are worried. I e-mailed prospective uni's and asked them whether they would accept me with my predicted grades, my AS levels, my GCSEs. E-mail the unis you want to go to and ask them and see what they say, Manchester gave me an AAA offer, I'm predicted ABB and I got BBCD at AS so its always worth to e-mail them
