Are intensive courses worth it?

I recently stopped driving after failing my driving test the first time and having to go to uni.
I did driving lessons for about a year and took my test and unfortunately nerves got to me and did not pass! After leaving for uni and coming back for the summer I'd love to have passed my test by the time I go back.

I've been looking at intensive courses and wonder if anyone has any advice or opinions on them? Like I said I've driven before and was test ready, but I'm stuck between an intensive course (2-4 weeks) or semi intensive (4-10 weeks). I'm not sure which one would be better? Would cramming everything I knew back in for the intensive course be better than stretching it out over 10 weeks, or would that be better!?

I'm really not sure which to go for so any advice is welcome!
