Is tottenham hale safe?

I booked my accommodation ate Emily Bowes in Tottenham Hale, but now after looking at some reviews I think I made a mistake as it might not be the safest place to be. Is it really or am I just getting paranoid?
It would mean a lot if anyone answered.

I know someone who has lived at the Unite complex for the last year. Tottenham Hale is not the nicest of areas, but the Unite campus is quite self-contained and feels very safe. Given the presence of a Tesco, launderette and gym on-site and an industrial park/tube station next door you need never stray further than 50m from Unite if you don't want to.
