Neuroscience or Natural Sciences at Uni?

Having recently deciding against applying for medicine this year, I have started looking at other science degrees. I am extremely interested in neuroscience but this degree is not offered at all that many uni's and many suggest natural science and then specialise into neuroscience.

I want to know if it would be better in terms of career opportunities to go for the natural science as it is more broad? Or just apply for neuroscience. Any advice from others previously being in this situation would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you (:

Hey!
Well, i don't know about natural sciences (although i have a friend in London doing it and she says its fairly easy) but I've got a conditional offer to do neuroscience at St Andrews. I think brains are awesome and personally i think theres lots of research opportunities (mainly because of how little we really know about the brain) for it but honestly, ive not looked into careers beyond a neuroscience degree because id originally applied for medicine. I think neuroscience is fascinating but i am ignorant about natural sciences so im rather bias  i think just go with what you most enjoy and do some reading about both
Sorry, i misread your message and realised the stuff i said was useless, im a bit of a baka, sorry XP  good luck with what you do and brains are still awesome
