Pure Chem/Physics at Russell Group Unis can be A*AA/A*A*A...
Maths at Cambridge and imperial have very high academic entry reqs - much higher than medicine and they have to do STEP.

Med on the other hand you need AAA minimum - resits for the most part won't be considered + great interview technique + loads of volunteering + great UKCAT and BMAT scores + making yourself stand out from the other tens of thousands of applicants

If we're talking pure academics then med is certainly not the hardest thing out there. If we're talking the whole selection process then yes med has very high entry reqs
Haha no way. It's only AAA for most medical schools. Subjects like natural science (my course) and maths wants A*AA+
Yes, medicine along with vet medicine and dentistry tend to have consistent high entry requirements regardless of university. All medical/ dental schools have identical academic A level requirements with the exception of a few.

There are other courses at specific universities however, that require more challenging requirements in terms of A levels/IB. Examples of these have been mentioned.
