Child birth is terrifying.

I've been reading a lot about it recently. It sounds awful.

Thank god I am a man. Makes me not want to get anyone pregnant :tongue:

IS it not better to choose to have a caesarean?

To do a C section they have to take out the organs in the way of the uterus, that sounds even worse to me

they dont knock you out, they give you an epidural so you cant feel anything in that general area but you re completely concious when you go into theatre, and they put a screen near your shoulders so you dont watch them cutting into you.

But yeah its pretty gross, cant believe that was me coming out of a vajayjay once.

You feel it in the weeks afterwards and you have to stay in hospital significantly longer, also far riskier because it's a major op :smile:

you cant always choose to have one, they only tend to let you have one if its necessary healthwise:P

Would definitely not choose a C section. All my friends had trouble with theirs afterwards.

Two of my friends and my little sister had great births. I was sat there chatting to one of them and the monitor was registering massive contractions but she couldn't feel a thing because of the epidural. My sister also gave birth to my niece pretty quickly and she said it was OK. But still. It freaks me out.

If you speak to people who have had C sections you'll find that often they can feel it (or feel something) just it doesn't feel painful at the time due to the epidural.
