Warwick CATS limit

Hello, does a maximum of 150 CATS mean you can take more but only your best 150 get counted towards your grade, or does it mean you can only take less than or equal to 150?

Thanks

This is how I think it works:

120 - Minimum amount for Honours degree
150 - Maximum the department will usuaully let you take
180 - Maximum the system can theoretically handle

The way your marks work is slightly different. There used to be this thing called the Seymour formula, but that's gone now. It's now something like the average over all your modules, or just your best 120 CATS of list A modules. This isn't exactly what it is, but it's something along those lines.
