Its too hot

Unlike my parents' house, my flat in Birmingham is not centrally air-conditioned.

In fact, there is no air conditioner at all.

I only have one fan and it just blows hot air in my face.

if you flip the fans (the part bends downwards would now face upwards) it would suck hot air away from you and hence actually keep you cooler. this is what I read online once, i think it to be true

I've survived 40+ degree heat without any air conditioning, surely you can live through 30 Celsius?

Put a cold, wet blanket on your face and body.

I was outside for virtually the whole day today (certainly up to 5PM), it was far to hot for me! :frown:

I'm having to have my tower fan on maximum just to keep me cool!
i ahve never lived in a house with air conditioning and im old, almost 34. I think your going to live.

Go to Thailand, Bangkok is currently 24 degrees and its 4.25 in the MORNING

suck it up for crying out loud

Dude I'm literally as naked as I can socially be in a house of family with a fan behind me...

But my little brother is sleeping on my top bunk so I have to let the fan rotate instead of stay on me.... so I only get release from the heat once every few seconds..!!!!!

I'm also having to rub ice on myself, from my drink! Looks kinky, feels good. :3

We are reasonably rich - my family.

Me - I cannot afford to rent an apartment with AC - I don't think one exists in Birmingham.
