RS 9: Life, death, and life after death

Who else is doing this one in June? I think it'll be pretty difficult because of the open nature of the question. How about we share our ideas?

AQA right? I did this last year...it's pretty easy to get marks on. Chances are you'll be asked something really general like 'What do religions believe about life after death?'. My advice would be to forget about structuring a good essay and just shove in as many facts as you can. I think I focused on Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism, saying a bit about funerals etc and what actually happens after death e.g. Hell, rebirth etc etc. List as many points for each religion as you can and try to explain them a bit. Then maybe contrast it with atheism or something.
