Missed interview - feel like an idiot

I don't even know the purpose of this thread.

So I got an interview for Waitrose and because I will be on holiday on the original date, I e-mailed them and was given an alternative time. This time was the 30th of June. The e-mails were sent and new time given on the 27th. I go on holiday on the 4th of July. Despite the fact that the lady said 30th June in the e-mail, for whatever reason I read it as 30th July. My brother works there and the lady told him today i missed the interview and now I feel like a complete ****. It's so unlike me to make such a stupid error and now I worry that the interviewer has a wrong impression of me. I feel like such an idiot. I tried to ring her and apologies personally but she left work so I have just sent an email. Although my brother reckons they will give me another one for when I get back off holiday, I just feel like ****. Utter embarrassment. I almost don't want to go to an interview even if they are so unforgiving enough to offer me another one.

Find out when she gets back and ring her again.
