Left it too late to secure a financial graduate job for the September 2015 intake?

Hello, I have just graduated from Sheffield University with a 1st in Economics and was wondering if I had left it too late to secure a graduate job for the end of the summer? I've always been unsure what I have wanted to do, I did try for a graduate job in May with EY but failed at the final stage. I have noticed there are still some graduate jobs left for September but non of them seem to be at the bigger firms, am I best to still try for them anyway or wait now till the September 2016 intake and find some useful work experience in the meantime? Any advice would be great thanks
