I was just thinking about this today when I saw many topless men. I wondered how come women couldn't do the same however me personally, I wouldn't go topless. If I had saw another woman topless- I'd be shocked at first because it's not usual in our society for a woman to go topless on the streets but I'd get used to it afterwards.
Honestly speaking though, even as a straight woman- I would be tempted to look at another woman's breast if she was shirtless, not on purpose or as a sexual thing obviously but like just because they are out. There are mother's who publicly breast fed their babies and everyone seemed ok with it.
No, it's already like a pornographic set as it is. But for the sake of fairness, men should have to keep their shirts on in public.
as a libertarian, I don't think it's the government's role to regulate your fashion or lack thereof

Well, since males are allowed to go topless, obviously females should be allowed to. Sexist pigs who think otherwise can go **** themselves (and move to Saudi Arabia).

The best option would be not allowing males to go topless in public either. I don't wish to see topless men, it is quite vile and so are most women, especially if they have saggy tits, nobody wants that in front of them (well maybe some people are into that....)

So either ban both or allow both, no other option.

They're seen as sexual organs and they are attractive, though obviously it's not the fault of women. I'm still on the fence about this however, I don't really feel strongly either way. I'm not saying that women shouldn't go topless because of men being attracted to their tits, I just don't like exposure.

I don't think that the chest of a man and the chest of a woman is comparable. Women can be attracted to a man's chest like she's attracted to a chiselled face or a nicely shaped jaw. Men are attracted to breasts without much reason, if a woman has breasts then chances are that a man's gonna like it.
Straight women, bisexual men and women, and us gay guys are sexually attracted to men's chest.

Couldn't care less to be honest, over time i have become more of an arse man myself. Tbh men do seem to carry themselves better than women, especially when topless.
Someone should bring a test case in the courts. Have a man walking on the beach topless, and a woman walking on the beach topless with him

If the woman is arrested, you bring a judicial review for equality act discrimination on the basis of gender; you are treating men and women differently in an identical situation

On the other hand, thinking back to when I was 15 and a lot more into women than I am now, if I saw an attractive woman walking around naked I would probably get a boner whereas I saw guys walking around shirtless (or even naked) and did not get a boner

Really? I've only seen people commenting on large pecs and not just average ones. Thanks for the input though, I guess.

In New York there was a case about 20 years ago and the principle that women can be topless in the same places as men was established.

There is a book reading group that celebrate this, having reading events in Central Park and other parks.
They can do whatever they want to with their bodies but I personally don't agree with it
Haraam.
