Is Manchester worth relocating to?
Hi I live in London due to the high rents and cost of living I feel that I am squeezed here and all my money goes on bills. If I move to Manchester I could buy a house outright or close to outright e.g. maximum £40k mortgage. Is it worth moving? I am worried about a few things:
1) How hard is it to find full time work in Manchester? I have worked a lot of temp jobs and at a catering place for 5 years so I have some experience also I will be a management graduate in a few years time. If I do move I am thinking around 5 years time.
2) Is the city generally a nice place to live? E.g. crime low and quieter than London
3) How difficult is it to make friends there? For someone who does not know anyone
