Boarding schools in Scotland!!!!

My little sister is thinking of going to a boarding school.Is there one which anybody would recommend?

Probably best to look around, they all have very different characters, and it depends on what she's looking for in her experience during and perhaps after school. I guess Gleneagles and Fettes are most well-known, but there are a few others including Dollar Academy, Strathallan and St. Georges.

No one can recommend a school for your sister. If she really wants to make a good choice, she can probably spend a night at the school when she does her entrance exam or something, not to mention meeting pupils there who can diss the other schools and big up their own (or not, whatever the case may be). :-p Any reason for Scotland in particular?

Maybe because school would be much more fun if it was outside. On that note, I had a friend who went to "The school without walls" or something. It was in America, but sounded like fun...
