What career do you want?

What career would you like to go into once you've finished education and why?

When I was a student I wanted to be a project manager. Now I'm an IT consultant so I think I'll stick with that.

I want to be a midwife. I just think it will be such an amazing and rewarding job, I've been 'baby' orientated since around the age of 14 and I can't think of anything better than helping someone bring a child into the world and sharing that moment with them😊

Honestly dont know. Its frustrating not knowing what id be good at and what id enjoy.

Keep thinking about being a police officer, but i dont think i have the right personality and i feel that im at a disadvantage being a small female.
Would perhaps consider clinical psychology, but i dont know whether id be good enough. Its very competitive and i dont think its worth spending so long working towards a role that im not fully fussed about.

Love observation and analysing. I think id be in my element doing counselling or being something like a speech and language therapist. But again, its competitive and a very long process getting in to such roles.
I really honestly genuinely want to become a doctor

Papacy.
I would want to be a history lecturer, hopefully some day a professor. At the same time I'd love to be a historian, I want to write history books and contribute to different historical theories, whilst sharing my knowledge with others. History is a never ending subject and there's always more to learn, that's why I love it so much.
Lol, I'll give you a glimpse of the 25 page career plan and back up plans I have:

The most ideal but extremely unlikely track is this.

Business Analyst/Associate Consultant (MBB/other top firm) ---> Product Management/Internal Corporate Strategy at a Tech Company --->top MBA---->back into consulting or Corp Strat. ----> Director of Strategy role ---> exit to found my own hardware biotech company

Or alternatively but still very improbable:

IBD Analyst (Tech M&A) ---> Private Equity/Venture Capital ----> top MBA---->Private equity in an operational role/consulting--->end up as a C-suite Executive

The other variants include stints in technology companies/software engineering roles. I've pretty much accounted for any (non-fatal) obstructions in my career plan. Ultimately, I'd like to become a CEO of my own large technology company.

Sounds interesting. I'd also like to start my own company some time in the future. What A levels and degree did you do/are you planning to do?

I did Scottish Advanced Highers.

Maths (includes Further pure content + normal content), Physics, French and Higher Computing.

I'll be starting a Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence course this Sept.
Well, my friend and I have a company that we plan to develop on our gap year before university.

Then after university, I plan to go into accountancy and gain the relevant experience necessary to succeed in my own accountancy firm (a planned part of the business I currently own), whilst my friend does the equivalent but from an engineering perspective.

Ultimately, the goal is being a CEO of my own conglomerate.

Currently a white man, would love to become a black man
Three very different ideas:
Fashion
Art specialist at Sotheby's
Teacher

Right now I have a job offer in the fashion field and I plan on applying to the specialist training program when it reopens, but later on in life I'd love to be a teacher. Just going to try out various different things at the moment

Have you just done your AS or A2 exams? I do speech pathology/therapy (joint course with psychology)- just finished first year - if I can offer any insight into applying/studying SLT at degree level let me know.
