How Can I Study Cinematography at UCLA?

HI,
I am really interested in studying cinematography in UCLA. I haven't yet taken my GCSEs but have already been asked to decide which A-levels I would like to take. I have taken Media Studies at GCSE and have enjoyed it a lot so would like to continue it at A-level however I would also like to do a diploma in TV & film production which would mean I cannot take any other A-levels with it.
Would I ever be able to study at UCLA as I am a British student and which A-levels would be advised to take in order to get in?
Thanks,
Cecily

Film Studies would be really good - you learn the theory and methods behind the practical, so camera angles, types of shot, etc, and the meanings behind them. Film Studies is my absolute fave subject and I'd highly recommend it to you, especially if you want to do Cinematography. I did my AS coursework specialising in Cinematography and really enjoyed it  However, unlike what most people on here say, it IS hard work. Not as much as the maths or sciences maybe, but still hard. Plus there is the bonus of only having one exam each year, and 40% coursework.
