Mix of all of the above - it's very much about being friendly to everyone. You never know when you might need them or when you'll bump into them in future! :smile:
At my job.

Was friendly with flatmates but never close, acquaintance terms with course mates due to few contact hours so I hardly saw them, and never bothered trying to infiltrate the cliques in societies.

College (halls) and societies (albeit one was the college drinking soc, which kind of blurred the line).

I got on with my course mates but never really close.
Mainly halls and my job really, but a handful from classes ofc. It's good to have a healthy mix I suppose :dontknow:
