I used to always catch the end of stargate. It always seemed to end with someone leaving poingantly through the stargate with sad music playing. Fair summing up?

Pretty much yeah
Lots of melodrama and snarky lols along the way. Universe (spin-off) was more serious and written like a modern TV drama though. Great stuff!
