Legal notice Pop up on IPad- accusing me of accessing inappropriate material online

Hi can anyone tell me the law please I was sent by a 17 year old lad a pic with him having sex with her She was 15 I did not ask for this I did not even share it with no one but now the police have put me on the sexual register for 2 years and a low caution there said i should have deleted it straight away but I thought nothing of it what is the law on this please

If you were keeping such material on your phone intentionally, you're guilty of the crime I'm afraid. Intention or ignorance of the laws aren't taken into consideration.

Thank god XD I just got a pop up saying this kinda stuff and it scared the crap out of me! Even though I realised that it didn't make sense that the police would fine you £100 after watching child porn (which I wasn't doing btw, just looking at normal stuff) and let you go on your jolly way, still had me freaking out. Thanks for clearing this up for me

I had that too when i was on gtacash.org. Basically if you want the cash to go in your gta account you need to download an app. I followed the link that was supposed to take me to the app and instead it started going through all different websites until it stopped because it tried to search child pornogaphy and it was telling me if i dont pay £100 by tomorrow all my stuff on my phone gets deleted including my apple id

I had the same thing only it said I was under 24 hour surveillance and video footage was being taken? Should I be worried??

been put off porn alltogther now since child porn keeps popping up on my phone, I will actually vow not to ever watch porn again, it's some scary ****, EVERY time it popped up on my screen I just keep reporting them to the iwf (internet watch foundation) there the people that want to see it and stop it, I'm recently single and I was watching porn and I was going a little bit too deep on the world wide web and i came across child porn, I didn't even realise it was child porn as the pictures where small, then after about 3 mins i realised it was! straight away I reported it, hopefully these sick **** get tracked down and castrated! THE INTERNET IS ****ING SCARY!
