Irish radiopgraphy student

Hi I'm in 6th year(final Year) in school in Ireland and I want to apply to uni in the UK to do diagnostic radiography as there are very few places on the course here in Ireland. I was wondering if theres anyone who could give me any advice or information on the interview process in the UK. Is it vital that I get work experience in a radiology department or is it possible that I could be accepted without it? Thank you.
Yes it's vital that you do some work experience. It doesn't have to be much, a day is usually fine as unis know how hard it can be to get but they want to make sure you know what you're getting into so you're less likely to drop out and waste a place. All NHS funded courses are very competitive and people who have done work experience are more likely to get an interview/offer than those who have not.
