Student Finance payment dates 2015/16

Hi, could anyone tell me the payment schedule for this year's payments? I can't find the schedule on my partner's SF account. Many thanks
It should just be the beginning of each term. It'll be different for each uni though, as they all have different term dates.

Yeah - the above poster is right. It depends on the uni.

With the first payment, you'll get it 3 days (because it takes 3 days to reach your bank account) after your uni has confirmed your attendance.

...that's as long as your uni passes the attendance info to Student Finance on the day you enrol. In my second year the uni mucked up enrolment and delayed informing SF for a fortnight. Always arrive with enough money to eat and socialise over the first couple of weeks. Just in case.

And remember that the payment process involves three organisations (your uni, SF and your bank), so delays can happen at any stage. Plus the process will only be guaranteed to run Monday-Friday. If your uni enrolment is on a Friday and the uni informs SF the same day, the earliest you'll get your money is the following Wednesday. If they inform SF on the following Monday then you might get it on Thursday.

There will always be exceptions, but always plan for the worst case scenario and then you won't be caught out.

Just a quick FYI - confirming *attendance* releases your *tuition fee loan*. Attendance needs to be confirmed by the uni at the start of each term in order for the uni to get paid.

Confirming your *registration* releases your *maintenance* and this is only done once per academic year, typically when you officially register/enrol on your course.

SFE always tell students that their institution needs to confirm their attendance in order for maintenance to be released to the student. SFE are morons. Quite often the issue is either at the SFE/SLC end or there is a problem with how the student has applied for funding, so don't be so quick to blame your institution.
Any no when u get the second part of your student finance payment
