At what level do you mean? For A Levels or at degree level?
Either way there are no set subjects for management jobs. Some subjects may prove more useful than others but it depends what company you want to work for or what position you want to have. For example, a degree in chemistry may be helpful if you want to have a management role in a pharmaceutical company, but it's probably not something you would need to get the job. Other jobs may just require prior experience working in a similar position or similar company.
In general you should be alright with pretty much any degree subject. You can do Business/Management if you'd like, but it's by no means necessary.

hmm obviously paddy knows very little. to the OP.... email some random companies and ask them..... they will be able to tell you. rather than someone second guessing.

hehe i know you can see it. i normally sign it if they cant.

chemistry degree for management? dont be so stupid.

Chemistry degree for management in a pharmaceutical company dumbass. As in people would have to have a knowledge of the business, and a working knowledge of chemistry would be a help in this paticular situation.
Obviously if you're gunning for the job of CEO of a bank then chemistry wouldn't be required. Try reading next time.

still wouldnt need it to manage a pharmaceutical company. Management is management.

I didn't say you would need it, I said it might be useful. Depends what you're managing.
Paddy is right though, you don't need a management degree to go into management, more often than not, a different degree (with different skills) is preferred, rather than knowing who Maslow was. A massive percentage of chemical engineers go into management, for example. My manager is a doctor of chemical engineering, her manager a doctor of mech eng. Of course you don't need it, but degrees with logic (science, engineering and others) will get you very far in the 'management world' due to the intrinsic skills of such people; rather than a degree they studied.

After having a quick look at the OPs post he is wanting to know what A level subjects he needs for business.

If you are wanting to do a degree after A levels just choose a selection of subjects you are good at and that meet the requirements of the degree you want to do, if you are unsure about that at this point then choose good academic subjects that will keep your options as open as possible, such as Maths, a science, English etc.

If you are wanting to do some sort of trainee role after A levels with a firm then Maths, English, Economics, MFL, Business, ICT etc would be good choices. (I have noticed when looking for myself that for such roles quite a few firms ask for a level 3 (A level/btec etc) qualification in Business.

chemical engineering is not the same as chemistry. A lot of engineers make good managers.

Read between the lines, he's saying that any degree offers viable skills that may be desired in a manager. Chemistry would presumably offer good analytical skills, as well as a good knowledge of chemistry which could be useful in a company that works with chemical products.
Try using your brain.
Ive bin told that business/management degree holders normally have a slight advantage because they already no most of the basics and are considerably cheaper to train and introduce. If your specificly after a management position then that sort of degree would probably be ok for you but if your more specialist eg computers it may be better to do computer science or engineering and then work your way up the ladder.

A Levels that would suit your goals would be:

-Mathmatics
-English Literature/History
-Economics
-Computing
Math is one, and mix those with sciences, arts and maybe a lingo if your proficient, try think of starting up a small business. Does noth ave to be massive, jst a smal idea.
I will probably get flamed for saying this but ICT and Business studies are also relevent to your goal as well as the subjects listed above. So dont rule them out. Geography as well is a good one just because it has lots of transferable skills. Do a combination of them and have some good extra stuff to put in your PS and you will get offers from nearlly everywhere with 3As - Unless your aiming for oxbridge or imperial then stay away from ICT and business alevels.

You don't need any qualifications for a job like that. You can either do it or you can't.
