Usually has to be sent off around the middle of or beginning of May; that's if you're sitting your GCSEs next year.

It depends whether it is a Controlled Assessment or Coursework.
Controlled Assessment - NO - unless you resit it.
Coursework - YES - If your teacher gives the 'go ahead'.

Your teachers will have to tell you their dates for controlled assessments or deadlines for handing coursework in for marking. It will be much earlier than the date examiners require the marks to be submitted and sample work to be made available for moderation.
