Duke Of Edinburgh and NCS

Is DoE or NCS worth the time and effort? To get a bronze in DoE doesnt seem too hard but is a bronze any good? Does it look good on a CV and is it worth the time?

NCS was a really good experience, and I feel that it improved my confidence socially before starting at a big college. I'm currently completing gold DofE, but didn't complete a bronze award. If you feel like it would benefit you- I would do it. I think it will look good on your CV/ when applying to university, but it would depend on what you're applying to!

All in all, if you feel it will be of benefit to you- do it! If you feel there are better ways to make yourself stand out, do that instead... Sometimes you should just do things for the experience you gain and have some fun :smile:
