PGCE Timetable

I'm starting to stress and have no information

I'm starting my post compulsory PGCE in September at Plymouth University, but I was wondering how long the course is.

Is says on the website that the course finishes at the beginning of June, but the course that I'm teaching on finishes at the end of July. So do I finish in June or continue placement even though my studies are over or just abandon them as soon as uni finishes?

I am in a similar position.. Have had very little input from the school.. I'm starting to worry too! I'm starting to think that it's the norm..

Since the placement is a part of your course and has been arranged by the university, it would most likely end when your course does. If you wanted to continue, that would be something that you would probably need to negotiate with the organisation you've been placed with.
