Mechanical Engineering Missed Offer

Hi.

Does anyone know any true story of someone missing their offer for the undergrad mechanical engineering at UCL yet still getting in? What were the grades they missed, i.e. did they get AAB when the offer was AAA and still get accepted?
Was this for the BEng or the MEng?

Also any stories of not being accepted into the MEng on results day for missing the offer but instead being transferred to the BEng?

I'm on EEE not Mech Eng but I my offer was AA and I achieved AB. Although the full offer might've been AAA and since I had done maths a year early and gotten an A*, I was probably accepted. Always check on the day if results don't go as planned, phone up UCL. But hopefully you get the results you're looking for (y)
