Physics as an A-level

I always wanted to do medicine, but i just found out that for medicine I can only have four uni options(for medicine) and one course which is different, so i was thinking of maybe picking bioengineering because its interesting and it seems like something i will enjoy. However, i really dislike physics and i think i need it for bioengineering for every uni. Is there a uni which will allow me to do the course WITHOUT physics? my a-level options are :bio, chem, maths and philosophy and ethics.

Thanks alot for your help.
From what people have told me, Bioengineering and Medical engineering are the same thing though I'm not too sure.

If they are then you can do it at Queen Mary's as they want Maths and chem/physics therefore you can apply without physics.

Here's the link to their entry requirement page: http://www.qmul.ac.uk/undergraduate/coursefinder/courses/80098.html

Hope this helps and good luck with your application

UCL also have a biomedical engineering course that requires mathematics and then one from chemistry, biology or physics, which you already have.

Check it out http://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/undergraduate/degrees/engineering-biochemical-beng

Bear in mind that when you apply all of your unis recieve the same personal statement, so UCL will probably be able to work out that this course is your 5th choice so maybe try and include some biomedical engineering (if you can) to keep it relevant.
