Is there a route to uni for me?

Hi all, i am 21 years old and have just finished my Level 3 CAA Diploma in Site Carpentry. I would very much like to progress onto university to study construction management / engineering. The problem is that i did not study A levels, i dropped out after a couple of months due to health issues. If i had known i could go back the following year and do them i would have done that so i only have my GCSE's and the 3 Diplomas i have done since (Levels 1,2 and 3).

So, my question is this: is there any route i can take to get to university? I have tried contacting the college i attended and inquired about their HE courses but their online information stated that i should be in employment i the respective area, which i am not. When i asked if it was absolutely necessary, they didn't bother replying to my 3 separate emails.

Thanks for the help.
You could do apprenticeship instead going university. You need experience to get job in future. Going university in only small part which helps you get on with the job
