Maths strange question aptitude test.

Can someone explain the correct answer for this question please as I am struggling to understand it.

Firstly, you are told revenue is proportional to number of customers.

In each row the sum is 200.

So 30/200 * 40/200 * 38/200 (picking out the categories given in the question) =5.7% of revenue generated by national- north east customers purchasing the capricorn line, hence approx 5.7% of customer base is of this classification.
