Anyone used a student planner?

Was wondering if anyone has used a student planner and whether they're just a gimmick that you don't actually need and will only use for the first few weeks.

I'm asking as a someone who will be starting uni this September.

Apparently this is one of the best selling ones;

Although some of it such as their life organizing section seems a bit of a patronizing space filler and not something I would use.
Hi :smile: Have you seen the free study planner you can get on TSR? Here's the link: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/g/planner/

I think having a plan all year round is really helpful for studying- even if you don't have any immediate deadlines or exams, having a structure put in place always helps me stay on track.
Why don't you just get a notebook and use it as a bullet journal. They're easier and cheaper in my case.

Just get a moleskin or a cheaper version of a moleskin and you can use it as any thing for notes, lists, as a planner etc...

Hope this helped

I used a planner (a Muji one) (and I do quite stick with the time most of the times), but I've found it hard to write down my time plannings...I prefer writing my time plannings vertically, that's why I've ordered the Palgrave one recently. It seems quite nice :smile: (and with high ratings by uni. students!). There's a Pearsons one which many students spoke highly of too. (I've seen Order out of Chaos Academic Planner by Leslie, and that one seems interesting too. Check those out. :smile:
