aqa- marking

does anybody know if an aqa examiner marks an individuals whole paper or just individual question?

Whole paper, I think. The examiner that marks your script will also be marking this paper for your whole centre, so I think you're directly pitted up against your peers. That being said, if there are two units- coursework and exam, or two exams- they will only mark one unit, and will not know how you have fared in the other.
