3rd Year Physics @ Leeds: Optional modules

Hey, I'm going to be a new student at Leeds, transferring into their third year, having completed the first 2 years of a Physics degree.

I'm just wondering if anyone has studied or knows much about the optional modules like the Teaching, Medical, Cosmology, and 10 credit Intro to Philosophy module?

Especially the teaching module - I'm not too sure I want to pursue teaching but I have no experience in teaching either, so this could be a great opportunity to gain skills and potentially follow a teaching career. However the continuous assessment seems very heavy despite this module only being 15 credits.

If you've studied this, what are the pros/cons for it? I don't really know who to ask about this as the module leader themselves are on holiday and I need to choose modules soon. Cheers! ^_^
