Boxing sports scholarships at kent university

Amateur Boxing

The David James Boxing Scholarship is awarded in memory of former Kent University Director of Sport and National boxing coach, the late David James. Started by a generous donation from a former boxing pupil and friend of David James it is designed to support selected boxers to achieve their potential.
In partnership with John Horton the University offers a scholarship from £250 - £2250 per annum (depending on a wide range of criteria). Scholars are selected by the Sports Scholarship Committee following recommendation. Talented boxers or boxers with exceptional potential are invited to apply for the scholarship through the normal process.
