, the time has come for you to receive your results! It's a really important day, especially for A2 students, so just remember that here at TSR, we've set aside some useful threads for you, whether you need advice on retakes or want to find out more about what to expect as a fresher and how you can prepare yourself for starting uni.... we've got you covered 
Some of you may have been emailed your results or have logged in to your college/sixth form portal; for others, you will have to go collect your results in person.... which can seem like a daunting prospect for many. Some people decide to check UCAS track first to see if they made it in (I did that myself and it saved me the tension of opening up my results envelope
). Our lovely content creators at TSR have made an awesome guide to prepare you for results day.So we've set aside this thread, where you can post your predicted grades and your exam results. Also make sure you post your firm/insurance choice if you have applied to uni this year
In the past few years on TSR these threads seem really popular so we're carrying on the trend

Very disappointed to not get in Cambridge at least for an Alternative Course I got myself carried away by getting in for that and there were no places left and they weren't interested.Good enough for Durham though and some excellent marks achieved 16/18 of my Maths modules were 90%+, 7/18 of those were 100%(C1-C4,M2,S2,D1).I will also remark my Physics A Level Unit 5A paper in the hope of getting an A* as I was one mark off.

Optimistic! We'll see what happens. Excited to see the boundaries for OCR... No way I'll get an A* in French, had no lessons and chose a film to write an essay about the day before the exam, as opposed to 8 months before

13/08 - so happy with my results overall! confused about what happened to almost the entire of further maths (excepting FP1) but it doesn't matter too much and all my other predictions were spot on - except for chemistry practicals, which went up by 2 marks and they never told me!

06/08 - I'm getting quite nervous now! I feel ok about French and Spanish because I got high A's last year and even if I get B's this year, I should still get an A overall for each. But it's so hard to tell how I've done in the speaking exams - last year I did a lot better than expected even though I made a few mistakes, but I imagine the marking is much harsher at A2 so who knows... And in the Spanish written exam for A2 I'm still annoyed that I wrote the correct answers for a few things, before crossing them out and writing incorrect answers instead... I should have gone with my gut feeling at the time. I hope I'm not 1 or 2 UMS marks off any boundaries for mistakes I shouldn't have made.
I'm definitely most scared about English Literature - I know I got an A* in the A2 coursework (providing it doesn't get moderated down), but the exam marking is so unpredictable/subjective, I probably either did well or terrible. Last year I got a B in the exam so I resat that - ideally I'd like an A in that and then I'm praying that things will turn out as an A overall, though I expect it'll be a very low A. I have a feeling I'm on the borderline between a high B and a low A...
13/08 - I'm so so happy!! I never ever expected to get an A* in English Literature, which I always thought was my worst subject. I ended up getting full UMS in LITB1, LITB3 and LITB4, which is crazy. I did work really hard this year to push it up to an A after getting a B at AS, and the hard work definitely paid off.
I'm very surprised about my French speaking (75/80 UMS), the same as I got at AS. My pronunciation isn't amazing in French so I probably lost marks for that, so I didn't expect to get that overall. And then in Spanish I got 62/80 which is quite confusing because I expected it to be the other way around - I feel more confident speaking Spanish and my pronunciation is better. Plus, the examiner seemed nice at the time. Either way, I got an A overall and there's no reason to complain! I'm relieved that I got into Durham too, my dream university!

Hi, just wondering, how is your insurance offer ABB? I thought Liverpool medicine was AAA?
I'm the first in my family to go to university, so I got on the Liverpool Scholar's Scheme, which reduces your offer by two grades if you complete it successfully, and get an offer!

Very nervous- at the moment- I feel like I have guaranteed myself an A in English Literature due to a high A last year overall and in this year's coursework, although I feel like I may have missed out on the A* due to starting and then scribbling out the start of one question in the exam, and then rushing to get a different one finished... Then with French, as previously mentioned by others, the marking is so picky and awkward that again I'm not sure whether an I've got the A* but hopefully I've got an A. Lastly with Art and Design it's down to the subjective marking and whether my re-submission of my AS coursework is enough to get me an A for AS- people say art is 'easy', but I can only drop 8 marks to get an A overall at A2, the thought of which is driving me insane at the moment!

Feeling confident about my A and one of my B's, however psychology could be either a B or a C so thats the only one I'm nervous about. French is my 'bonus', I came out with a C last year, which i would be pleased to get again.
If I don't meet my offer for Durham, doing 4 A-levels and an EPQ means that i can bomb out on a few exams and still get my insurance, plus the course is already in clearing.
