To all graduates, what job are you currently doing?

I graduated last July and I have recently ended a job at a call centre. Really don't know which jobs to apply for so I made this thread to see if i can see a common trend

I'm an Econ grad and I'm currently working in Category Management, though I expect to move more towards Customer/Market Data Management in the next few months.

I get to sit in bed and work a lot of the time and pays the bills so :dontknow:

That seems like a great entry level job much better than call center IMO

I'm in a 3 year ACA training contract, with the option of staying with the firm post qualification.
I'm currently working in an administrative role with a financial firm, with the longer term aim of becoming a qualified paraplanner/financial advisor over the next 3-4 years

Would also be interesting if graduates put down what degree they did, where they went and how much they're earning

IT consultant
I don't have a job yet but I did my undergraduate degree in International Relations, currently finishing off my Masters in International Public Policy, Regulation and Competition and applying/looking to apply to (paid) policy/research based internships with think tanks and other charities. Pay is pretty abysmal though, normally minimum wage or living wage but I just can't see myself doing something more corporate.

Degree:Bsc Mathematics with Theoretical Physics
University: UCL
Graduation year: a very long time ago
Job: Retired
Salary: none now
Previous jobs since graduation: Lecturer, Examiner, Private Teacher
Future plans: Do Maths for myself and more Maths!
Degree: BEng (Hons) Digital Forensics and System Security
University: Coventry
Graduation Year: 2011
Job: Senior Cyber Security and Forensics specialist.
Salary: ~£75-80k inc. bonuses and shares + Bens
Previous jobs since graduation: Senior manager for a large distribution company and a Cyber Intelligence Analyst for a large defence prime.
Future plans: Bag a lead role somewhere cushy in London and settle in for the long haul. I don't have ambitions of moving up to Manager/Director level any time soon - I want to remain technical for as long as possible. Perhaps in about 5-10 years time, I could probably see myself moving up the chain and probably finishing up in a CISO role somewhere by the time I reach 45.

Why? Because I applied myself and made something of my life?

I doubt it's that simple.

I wasn't having a dig anyway, just a bit of fun.

I'll save any political disagreements for the politics forums

It pretty much was. I left school with crap qualifications and over the last decade, I've had no support from my family to get where I am today. I was practically penniless for a year or so when I got booted out from home, so I don't fit the stereotypical "successful millennial" profile.

No worries

I see.

I respect all grafters.

Peace.
