Give them food and shelter because they are desperate 20%

What should be done?

The french authorities should tonight if the immigrants start trying to breach the fences fire CS gas (tear gas) at them to disperse the crowds while making mass arrests. In the morning begin the eviction and deportation from the illegal camp sites that they have created, give them 2 hours to collect their belongings and then move them by buses to different french ports and airports to then be transported back to their place of origin. When all immigrants in the camps have been deported bulldoze the illegal shanty towns that they have created. PROBLEM SOLVED. In the future if there are any illegal immigrants hanging around the town deport them immediately.

Most of the immigrants come from war torn countries including Libya who we bombed.

Anyway, giving them shelter is the safest option. You can't deport someone to a country in the midst of a civil war.

deport them

If their home country is habitable, deport them.

If their home country is uninhabitable put them in a temporary refugee camp away from cities and towns until they can either be deported home or taken up EQUALLY by EU countries.

There are no black people in Syria or Libya and if you want to dispute that, you are lying you yourself.

The vast majority of people in Calais or on Mediterranean boats are black.

They are more than likely to come from Ethiopia and Eritrea, which are NOT in any sort of war and have NOT been touched by the West since Italy invaded it in 1936 and left in 1945. Besides, there are LOTS of countries that are SAFE near their countries of origin, like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, South Africa, Israel, all of Southern Europe. They come to Britain because they are GOLDDIGGERS. It is greed and pursuit of a richer life, pure and simple. They are economic migrants, not refugees. There's no question about that.

Borders are virtually non existent on mainland Europe so if you would want to start setting up checkpoints again on borders.... but that goes against free movement of people.
