Please can someone explain to me why this Uni isn't on this list

Royal Holloway isn't on list for some reason even though they teach Law, why is this?:

It looks like it's a Top 100 table, it won't list anything under the top 100 law universities so I guess it just isn't good enough.
What @not you said...

This is the course page on the website http://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/courses/578391, it doesn't appear to have a course ranking.

In any case, you should be asking them - not us, this isn't a TSR matter.

According to the CUG, it's 34th in the country.

Take a look at other league tables and cross compare for accuracy.

It may be good on average, but it may not have a top 100 Law department and makes up for it with Economics or something. Also you can't really trust certain league tables, they usually base their rankings based on some weird factors and universities jump from 6th to 40th in a single year.

Seriously, ignore the comments made so far. Not trying to be mean, but none of you guys have read the news.

This isn't an official source, but it tells you how new the course is. According to the article, royal holloway will have it's first intake in SEPTEMBER 2015. There are a total of 0 current students on the course, and a total of 0 alumni. The course is brand new, of course they can't be ranked yet. They haven't even started a single class.

Would it be bad for me to do Law at this Uni then? Even though they are a good uni, the course is brand new

Well that'd explain why I've never heard of it before

Well they have an AAB entry requirement, if this is of use?

Nope. Nobody has done that course at that University yet because it didn't exist :p:
So if I were you I would have a look at general reviews of RHUL and its pros and cons and then I would go onto their law department website and google the academics. Then you can check out which academics will be teaching you while you're there. You can also go on what the course structure is like. You might like their course structure more than another University's. At the day you'll probably be fine wherever you go.
Mmm being in the first intake is taking a risk.

it could be fantastic but realistically you can expect teething troubles which could be anything from trivial or serious.

The Law programme is new this year, as 1drowssap said, so that's why it's not in any league tables yet, they currently only have criminology and sociology/ psychology degrees, so it might be worth looking at RHUL's ranking for them?

I will be starting on their new Psychology MSc in September, even though there may be teething problems, (its a new programme too), I figured they will be keen to put in as much effort, money and organisation as they can into it, so I think there's pro's and con's of it being a new course - I chose RHUL over other uni's for this reason, so its something only you can decide if you would want to take a risk on!

It is pointless looking at that list especially when it's not subject specific one either

It depends on you really. RHUL is pretty established, and if you're happy being the pioneer batch for the law course, why not? It's pretty exciting being in a start up course. I don't study law, but I think law courses are pretty similar, due to the fact that it needs to meet professional standards. Of course, the uni would probably need to iron out the kinks since its so new.

You could look at it from another angle. There are loads of other options, even in London. You could also explore those options.

Why wer you referring to the university's league table rank then lol
League tables are simply a measure of how good unis are at doing surveys.
