Getting into Stanford
Hello,
I am nearing the end of my GCSE years with predicted straight A*s, thankfully. I am hoping to be able to go to a university in the USA, preferably Stanford. Is there anything I need to do as a UK citizen to prepare me or suit me to an American university (e.g. taking the SATs) and would the following A Level choices be suitable considering American Universities tend towards variety, not focus?
Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Maths + AS Photography
Lastly, I understand that studying in the US will give me a breadth of knowledge so would me having taking four A Levels in fairly similar spheres of knowledge hinder me at all? Would I therefore be better off sticking to UK universities such as applying to Oxford?
