Assumption that my mother must be fully white and my father must be a second generation black guy?? -It's weird, but really common

I must either "behave" like a black girl or a white girl, I cannot be myself. -I really hate these stereotypes of behaviour anyway, but it's the fact that I must fit into one particular racial group, I cannot simply be mixed race.

(My father is from Trinidad, one of his parents being black and the other more of the Indian appearance, and my mother is half Turkish and half Welsh. Quite an unusual mix, I'll admit)
