Londoners, a question about student Oyster cards...
So I plan to remain in London once I'm finished with uni and I was wondering what exactly happens to my Oyster card once I'm no longer a student?
What I'm really asking here is that can I cash in one last time on my 1/3 discount by buying a year long travelcard the day before my card expires?

Your student discount stops working after you stop being a student but the oyster card stays valid and works like an adult oyster. You'll only be able to buy a travelcard upto the day your card expires.
