How difficult is Electrical Engineering vs Materials?

Currently going into my first year at university after completing a foundation year and onward to study Materials Science & Engineering. However I seem to be slightly confused as to weather to peruse a degree in MSE or switch to EE. This change came after i was crapping my pants about my electricity exam (thinking I would fail), which I had 92% in... compared to 76% in materials. Also the fact about jobs and employment, EE seems more demanding and varied than MSE or is this untrue? Also slightly worried about the difficulty level, example MSE has an easier Maths module rather than EE. Thanks for the help!
