I was the same, and a load of other ear problems too. Possibly they could have done some permanent damage but your ENT specialist obviously has a far better idea of that than me! Is it possible you could have an ear infection now and that's suddenly made it worse in the last week or so? I had the same with prochlorperazine and betahistine, that doesn't help a lot though sorry. You really need to be asking your ENT person that and they need to work out what's causing it first, fortunately for me mine (well the really bad type) went away after a few months and rarely returns for more than a few days at a time in a really bad patch, hopefully yours might be the same. I know how debilitating it can be though, I hope they sort something out for you soon.

Sorry, missed this!
Wish I could do that, driving wipes me out completely! I can just about do twenty minutes then a break then another twenty or so, if that's the only thing I do in a day, my test almost killed me and it took me a year and a half to get that far. That's in a manual car though, wondering if I'd be better in automatic now you've said that as a lot of what I struggle with it coordination and multitasking anyway. Thanks!

Yeah might be worth a go in an automatic and seeing how you go if you can drive one somehow, frees up some mental resources so is much less tiring for people like us. Used to dread driving sometimes because of how much I knew it'd exhaust me, but it's not really a problem now unless I try and drive for more than a couple of hours in a day. Switching to auto has been a life changer for me  People like to say "But you don't think about changing gears once you're used to it" which is absolute rubbish. On a basic level of changing up as you pick up speed, or coming to a stop and switching to 1st, granted it becomes automatic after a while, but in other situations you're always assessing the situation to decide which is the most appropriate gear based on your speed, which you're not thinking about in an automatic as you're literally just looking at what's in front of you to decide whether you need to stop, go or adjust your speed.

For the past few months i have only being taking one tablet per day and it has being kept at a low and it has being eased off but this past week my tablets have not touched it but i think the doctor giving me betahistine is the completely wrong tablet. My specialist said it was the brain which forgets signals and motion and Betahistine are for blood flow to the ears. Which my auntie told me who is a doctor. So i am going to ring the doctors up again and see if they can prescribe me anything different that is used for what i have?

I forget what dose I was on but I think it was more than that, possibly up to three a day. Over a shorter period though and I might be mixing it up. I thought I tried a third thing, I can't for the life of me remember what it was though and certainly prochlorperazine was by fare the best, I just couldn't handle the side effects. Sorry!

Glad it was! The problem I have at the minute is hat whilst I can drive to places, by the time I have I'm too tired to do anything there or I'll be too tired to come back which is a bit if a pain. I've no intention of getting my own car any time soon but it is definitely worth a thought, thank you. Yeah te changing gear thing definitely makes sense!

Fair enough  Yeah I'm similar to a less severe degree, in general I won't drive long distances and try to keep days out fairly local. Good thing is though that my sister is on my insurance so we can go on a family day out and I might drive there, but if I'm too exhausted to drive back I can give her the keys  But atm it's been too hot for me to want to be going on days out anyway haha.
