Hey! Just got accepted for Chemical engineering at Aberdeen, anyone else? or Any sort of engineering since its a common course.

I am ! I've applied for chemical engineering but I may well switch it around to EE or mechanical. Depends on what I enjoy the most. As you say its common and you don't specialize until the 2nd year I believe. Which is nice to have that flexibility.
