Jobs at Leeds University

So I think its highly likely I'll get into Leeds uni. I want a job while at university, hopefully actually on campus in the union bit. How do first years go about doing this? Should we look now and apply or will they're still be chances to get jobs when we start in September? I need this money to top up my maintenance loan so I can eat :')
There's usually listings on the vacancies part of the LUU website. Some of the union shops are open over summer, but best wait to September as that's when they start advertising for workers. Note: a lot of people apply for these jobs, so if you don't get a job at the uni don't be disheartened. Leeds has a massive city centre, and there's plenty of retail jobs available there. Actually, a new Sports Direct are hiring on Briggate. :smile:
