Fine Art Student help??

Hi, Im due to start university at Leeds Met in September studying Fine Art. I was just curious as to the kind of things art students were taking with them when they move to university, and what we will need come September.

I'm doing Illustration in Cardiff Met, but I can tell you from one artist to another that the main things you need to bring for your course would just be a selection of good quality paints, tonal/coloured pencils, basic equipment like erasers sharpeners, maybe one sketchbook or so to get you started, and if you've got any canvases knocking around, you could always take a few if you need them. I'm probably going to take some different papers down and the like, but don't forget your portfolio too so you can update it as you go along! All the best with starting in September! :smile:
