Which Universities to apply to? Should I apply to Oxbridge? (Law)
Hi first time poster here,
I just got my Scottish Higher results in and I managed to achieve 5As in what I hope are strong subjects, Maths, English, Physics, Spanish and Latin. unfortunately though I only managed one A band 1 (A*) and so I'm worried whether this will have an effect my application to top universities. My one A band 1 was in English.
I have what I consider very strong Extra Curriculars including Rugby Captainships, I'm working towards gold DofE, I play guitar and sing in a band that does gigs for charity, member of choir etc....
At the moment I'm looking at Glasgow, Newcastle, Durham, Oxbridge and one of the London unis but I'm not sure which yet. I'm willing to work very hard next year to achieve the goals set by any conditional offers, but will I get them from these universities? And do I even have a chance at Oxbridge? (I consider myself quite good at interviews and the like and would be more worried about the actual entrance exams themselves.
